I’m a Georgetown University sophomore majoring in global & comparative literature and minoring in journalism. If you couldn’t tell, I’m super passionate about all things reading and writing. I’m particularly interested in the ways in which written communication intersects with social issues, especially those concerning the Asian-American experience.
When I’m not stressing over the NYT Connections, you can find me writing for The Hoya, carefully crafting yet another Pinterest board, hitting a shoulder-focused push day, or watching Bon Appetit videos and thinking, “I could definitely do that in my communal dorm kitchen.”
Journalism-wise, I’m always appreciative of any opportunity to cover new topics or experience different types of reporting. Some of my favorite pieces I’ve written so far have included:
- A homelessness policy analysis of D.C. encampment clear-outs
- An op-ed on the burden of unpaid internships on first-generation, low-income students
- An article on I-71 compliant cannabis gifting shops
- A profile on Rep. Maxwell Frost, the first Gen-Z congressman
